I don't really tell people I collect BJD's. I do, and I can get a bit obsessed with them (they're so fun to play with. XD
Any way, just a little sadness on my part. There are three grail dolls that I have always wanted. Soom Monthly Euclase
dollsoom.com/eng/shop/item.php…, Soom Monthly Heliot
dollsoom.com/eng/shop/item.php…, and Soom Monthly Chalco
dollsoom.com/eng/shop/item.php… officially been soomed. Why do I always pick expensive hobbies? IDK). As you can see, they're all monthly dolls. Their companies don't make them anymore, so I have to search for them secondhand. Well, it's also well known that these three molds are pretty popular (especially Euclase and Heliot), so people aren't willing to sell them as much as the non-limited ones. The Euclase and Heliot were both made in 2008 and Chalco in 2009. Well, I was browsing in DenOfAngels' marketplace just to look at the dolls, and I saw a Euclase up for sale. I'd snap it up, but I don't have the money. $750.00 isn't easy to come by. I'll...I'll just have to stare at the company photos of those three and silently cry in the corner as my chance to get a Euclase once more slips away (they did an event where they sold the old monthly molds for a few weeks, but I didn't have money that time either. My dog was hit by a car and I had to use my saved up money on my baby, not be cruel and spend money on a doll). And I don't have a job right now either. Small family owned business is fun to work in, but when the economy is this bad, it really hits small businesses hard.
